Now let them put away their prostitution, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the middle of them for ever.

Now let. Rather, `Now shall they put away their whoredom and the carcases of their kings far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.' It is a prediction and promise, and not an exhortation.
