And when any will offer a meat offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil on it, and put frankincense thereon:

meat offering. {Minchah}, from the Arabic {manach}, to {give}, especially as a {reciprocal gift}, a {gift, oblation}, or eucharistical of gratitude offering, for the bounties of providence displayed in the fruits of the earth. It is termed a {meat offering} by our translators, because the term {meat} in their time was the general name for food.
