1 produce, furnish: Imperfect (jussive) וְתָפֵק לָרָעֵב Isaiah 58:10 with נַפְשְׁךָ (read perhaps לַחְמְךָ see Che^Hpt); Participle מְפִיקִים מִזַּן אֶלזַֿן Psalm 144:13 (see זַן).

2 bring out, elicit, obtain, with accusative; יָפִיק Proverbs 3:13, + מִן person, וַיָּפֶק Proverbs 8:35; Proverbs 18:22 (all "" מצא), Proverbs 12:2.

3 זְמָמוֺ אַלתָּֿפֵק Psalm 140:9 his device do not promote.

A primitive root (identical with puwq through the idea of dropping out; compare nphaq); to issue, i.e. Furnish; causatively, to secure; figuratively, to succeed -- afford, draw out, further, get, obtain.
